"I am currently being treated for restless leg syndrome by Dr. David Sampson through brain based therapy. I have had RLS for almost 20 years and never previously encountered any professional who offered any treatment options for this condition. I assumed it was just an annoying condition I would have to learn to live with. I began the brain based therapy in the winter of 2009. My RLS symptoms have decreased significantly since that time. Prior to treatment, I needed to take RLS medication almost every night so that I could fall asleep. If I did not, twitching and jerking legs would prevent me from getting to or staying asleep. Now that I have been receiving brain based therapy my symptoms have virtually disappeared! This decrease was gradual at first but over time I began to realize that I was having more nights without symptoms than I had nights with symptoms. With continued treatment over the past four months, I have not had any symptoms for over a complete month. I feel that the quality of my life has been greatly improved. I sleep so much better. The therapy is easy, safe and was completely covered by my insurance. I would highly recommend that anyone who suffers from RLS to undergo this therapy rather than continuing to only mask the symptoms with medication. "
